POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Project Coordinator to oversee marine operations effectively. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the marine program is executed as per the initial project commitments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Take charge of the marine installation program, ensuring seamless communication with the General Project Management (GPM) team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive marine installation schedule, disseminating updates to all involved parties and subcontractors.
  • Engage in initial project meetings to validate marine and land installation costs.
  • Accountable for vessel selection and strategy, ensuring alignment with project milestones and budgetary constraints.
  • Manage the procurement process for marine subcontractors, ensuring compliance with defined scopes of work.
  • Oversee the timely importation of vessels and cables, ensuring all logistical aspects are executed efficiently.
  • Ensure the production and timely distribution of all necessary marine documentation in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Instruct the Permitting department to secure necessary permits as dictated by project requirements.
  • Prepare documentation for potential Force Majeure claims related to marine operations.
  • Conduct regular assessments of marine risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
MARINE OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) and Marine Operations teams to finalize the Plan of Work (POW).
  • Ensure adherence to the cable loading schedule and propose necessary mitigation plans for any encountered challenges.
  • Coordinate all aspects of marine and land cable installation, ensuring consistency across all activities.
FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT
  • Provide regular updates on marine financial forecasts and project changes.
  • Monitor actual and projected revenues for marine project components.
  • Ensure monthly cost tracking aligns with project plans, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
