Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead/Applied Psychologist to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Neurodiversity Pathway, with a specific focus on the Autism Assessment Team.

About the Role

This role will be suitable for a Psychologist who has experience of working with children with neurodiversity and who is experienced in or would like to progress into a Clinical Lead position. The successful applicant will work closely with other leads working within Neurodiversity and clinically lead the team, oversee the diagnostic process and chairing Multi-Disciplinary Meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the Autism Assessment team
  • Oversee the diagnostic process and chairing Multi-Disciplinary Meetings
  • Lead the team and provide supervision to the MDT
  • Have knowledge and experience of Neurodiversity and/or Autistic Spectrum Conditions and assessments
Requirements
  • HCPC Applied Psychologist
  • Supervision Training
  • Additional Training in a Assessment/Therapeutic Model
  • Experience of working with children with neurodiversity
  • Experience of Providing Clinical Supervision to HCPC registered clinicians
  • Experience of overseeing psychological assessments and reports
