This role as a Financial Analyst will report directly to the Finance Director and is integral to the finance team, contributing significantly to the enhancement of the Finance function. You will engage in Finance Business Partnering within the organization's most rapidly growing division, collaborating with diverse stakeholders and serving as a trusted advisor to Senior Management and Directors across various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a finance partner to Senior Management and Directors across multiple departments, fostering trust and credibility.
  • Assist in financial modeling, pricing strategies, and profitability assessments.
  • Support the Finance Director with financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Generate and disseminate weekly and monthly operational reports, including sales performance.
  • Develop new reporting frameworks to adapt to evolving business needs and stakeholder requirements.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of financial systems to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Analyze data from financial and operational systems for insights.
  • Monitor expenditures against budgets and prepare relevant monthly accruals and reports.
  • Manage standard finance journals and act as the primary contact for commercial teams regarding their expenditures.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and reporting improvements across the organization.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at cost reduction and efficiency enhancements.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in Food Production, Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, or Consumer Goods sectors.
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
  • Experience in international organizations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of implementing improvements in current practices.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence in stakeholder engagement.
  • Adept at identifying, addressing, and escalating key issues.
