We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Vetisco in Brighton. As a key member of our 15-vet team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our RCVS-accredited hospital.

About the Role

As a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing expert surgical care to our patients, including emergency and advanced medical cases. You will work closely with our experienced nursing team, including 30 RVNs and 5 SVNs, to ensure seamless patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex surgical procedures, including orthopaedics, ophthalmology, and soft-tissue surgery
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical services and protocols
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Participate in morning and evening rounds for case discussions and patient handovers
  • Collaborate with our experienced team to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellent clinical outcomes
