About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our inpatient department, the Dufferin Ward, at The Horder Centre. As a key member of our team, you will provide on-hand clinical support and expertise to our valued patients, while supporting our registered nurses and healthcare assistants to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to our nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to our standards.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans, promoting patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of our nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

About You

  • You will be a passionate and experienced clinical expert, with excellent communication skills and empathy.
  • RGN / NMC registered, with prior orthopaedic experience.
  • Personal and approachable, with a real motivation to help uphold the outstanding rating proudly held by The Horder Centre.
  • Excellent communication skills, to help build those all-important and respected relationships with our patients and your direct and wider teams.
  • Proactive and forward thinking, with a passion for continued learning.
