THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a leadership position within Cambridge Associates' Pension Practice, working closely with our infrastructure research group. You will play a vital role in advising clients on their public and private infrastructure investments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop, implement, and review customized infrastructure investment programs tailored to each client's objectives. This includes establishing financial goals, investment policies, risk management frameworks, and investment manager structures.
  • Investment Sourcing & Execution: Lead the identification, underwriting, and recommendation of co-investment and direct infrastructure opportunities aligned with clients' investment strategies. Manage multiple transaction processes simultaneously, meeting near-term deadlines.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on infrastructure investment opportunities, leveraging industry relationships and due diligence to evaluate managers globally. Stay abreast of market trends and author research reports relevant to clients' interests. Lead research projects and delegate tasks to Investment Associates.
  • Internal Expertise & Business Development: Serve as a resource for the firm on infrastructure markets and investments. Contribute to business development activities, including attending industry events and presenting at marketing meetings with potential clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Substantial experience in infrastructure-related investments, preferably with a transactional focus.
  • Proven analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative) and strong written and oral communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated relationship-building skills.
  • Project management and team leadership experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under time constraints.
  • CFA or MBA preferred.
