Veterinary Surgeon Position in Blackpool

We are seeking a skilled and passionate veterinary surgeon to join our team at Charity Pet Hospital in Blackpool.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on animal welfare. As a veterinary surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a variety of pets, performing surgical procedures, examinations, and treatments, and collaborating with a team of veterinarians and support staff.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need a recognized veterinary degree, eligibility for Veterinary Surgeon registration in the UK (RCVS), and a passion for animal welfare. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also essential.
About the HospitalOur hospital is a modern and well-equipped facility, featuring separate dog and cat kennels, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and extensive orthopaedic equipment. We offer flexible working options, including remote and weekend work, with enhanced pay and stand-down time during the week for weekend shifts.
BenefitsWe offer a range of benefits, including a CPD allowance of one week and £1000 per year, full coverage of RCVS fees, access to internal CPD programs and discounts for BSAVA Congress and London Vet Show, 25 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays), with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days per year, an additional Wellbeing Day annually, and generous pension schemes starting at an enhanced rate of 5% contributions up to 10%.
