Workshop Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workshop Manager to join our team at Cooks Motor Group. As a Workshop Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop, overseeing the management of our team, and driving excellence in customer service and vehicle quality.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive training plan for workshop colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  2. Collaborate with the management team to create a resource plan for the workshop, focusing on load optimisation and efficiency.
  3. Ensure effective planning and allocation of facilities, bays, machines, tools, and diagnosis installations.
  4. Lead, coach, and motivate employees to achieve high-quality workforce standards.
  5. Monitor and optimise productivity and performance of employees, ensuring accurate job time planning and task allocation.
  6. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain quality control of all completed tasks.

Requirements

  1. Full UK Driving Licence.
  2. Motor Industry experience in a similar role is essential.
