Job Opportunity
An exciting position has become available within the Lanark Justice Social Work Locality team. We are seeking to appoint a full-time Social Care Support Assistant on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
The successful applicant will work in close partnership with Social Workers to assist service users within the community and promote public safety. Responsibilities will include providing one-on-one and group support to service users, focusing on their safety and well-being, addressing behavioral issues, and fostering positive outcomes.
Key Qualifications
- A strong ethical foundation with a non-judgmental attitude.
- Exceptional relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with partner organizations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- An HNC or equivalent qualification in health and social care.
