Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company, in their search for a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in their state-of-the-art facility in Crewe.

The Role:
  • Ensure all production machinery is maintained to its optimum performance daily.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve any problems during the shift or those highlighted by the line leaders.
  • Identify parts that may be required and report to the engineering manager.
  • In line with the production plan, complete applicable product line changes in a timely manner.
  • Adjust settings applicable to the product being run – fillers, cappers, conveyor, combiners, laser etchers, and boxing elements.
  • Ensure change parts are stored effectively for their next use.
  • Use of plant machinery including angle grinder(s).
  • Meet performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
Requirements:
  • Recognised electrical/mechanical apprenticeship.
  • Experience within the FMCG industry.
  • The ability to work at height and lift a minimum of 20kg.
  • Experienced with dealing with various production machinery and line setting.
What Our Client Offers:
  • £40,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE.
  • Monday to Friday shifts, 10 hours, inclusive of days and nights.
  • Permanent position.
