About the Company:
Our client is a well-regarded manufacturer of chemical products, looking for a compliance expert to oversee regulatory adherence for their European operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Drafting and managing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in line with UK and international regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance with various regulations pertinent to the business, including UK and EU REACH, GB and EU CLP, and PIC.
  • Preparing Poison Centre Notifications Dossiers and ensuring compliance with Member State requirements.
  • Conducting risk assessments on currently utilized chemicals regarding potential future regulatory actions or restrictions.
  • Providing guidance to the logistics team on compliance with hazardous materials legislation for the transportation of goods.
  • Maintaining relationships with consulting firms on regulatory issues.
  • Collaborating with Research & Development teams on the regulatory evaluation of new materials or product innovations.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Toxicology, or a related discipline, along with 10 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Toxicology, or a related field with 5 years of pertinent experience in regulatory compliance.
