Senior Correspondent

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Correspondent to join our team at ION. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for providing exclusive content on Limited Partners, General Partners, fundraising, allocations, and commitments concerning the EMEA/North American renewables, power, and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate ideas for longer-form coverage and work with our data and research teams to ensure accurate, exclusive, and market-scooping news and analyses.
  • Assist with our events with content creation, panel moderation, and speaking.
  • Work with our EMEA editor, senior editors, and colleagues across the group to support content creation targeted at our key customer segments.
  • Maintain high standards of copy and adhere to our group-wide compliance policies.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the financial market with a proven record of reporting exclusives.
  • Proven record of breaking news for a media organization, as well as writing in-depth analyses.
  • Ability to spot trends in market data and conduct research to identify and produce reports.
  • Track record of ability to build a network of sources to produce reports.
  • Strong news and analyses writing skills.
