Job Overview:

The Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice at Kids Love Nature's Wickham setting.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team in a fantastic setting. As a Childcare Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and education for children, while also developing your skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
  • Treat each child as a unique individual, respecting their needs and abilities.
  • Support new children in settling into the environment, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Conduct observations, assessments, and planning for individual children, as well as contributing to the completion of records and reports.
  • Plan and present activities to children, based on their interests and developmental needs, in collaboration with colleagues and the nursery management team.
  • Support children in finding and engaging in constructive activities, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Assist with daily routines, such as changing nappies and clothing, and supporting toilet learning.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A level 2 in Childcare is desired but not essential.
  • GCSE Grades A*-C in English and Maths, or equivalent functional skills.
  • Able to gain a clear DBS.

Working Hours:

  • Approximately 36 hours per week, with shifts to be discussed.
