About the Role

Magellan Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing and Quality Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of quality policies, procedures, and processes to drive operational excellence.
  • Manage and mentor a team of quality engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements that reduce product non-conformance and improve overall quality.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate quality-related information to stakeholders, including senior management, production teams, and external customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality engineering or management role, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, including ISO 9001.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
