Job Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our School for a dedicated and experienced EYFS practitioner to support a group of Reception pupils with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support students who have Special Educational Needs: cognition and learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • To support the classroom teacher with their responsibility for the development and education process by providing care and supervision to children including those who have special physical, emotional and education needs.
  • To help to keep children safe.
  • To promote positive behaviour.
  • To develop and promote positive relationships.
  • To support the development and effectiveness of work teams.
  • To reflect on and develop practice.
  • To maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • To lead interventions to enable children to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an EYFS setting.
  • Passion to work with SEND children.
  • Child-focused with a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.

Work Pattern: 35 hours per week, 39 weeks
