We are seeking a highly skilled Database Service Desk Consultant to join our established support team in London or Edinburgh.

This role offers a great opportunity to progress both technically and professionally, with many employees advancing from junior levels to seasoned Database Administrators.

The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background in Computer Science and/or other IT-related disciplines, with experience in relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing IT support and maintenance for enterprise solution products
  • Developing good working knowledge of data entry, management, and maintenance
  • Learning new software products quickly and demonstrating a genuine interest and enthusiasm
  • Excellent communication skills and previous experience in a customer-facing technical Service Desk environment

Requirements:

IT graduate with a solid educational background

Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server

Good working knowledge of data entry, maintenance, and management of enterprise solution products

Ability to learn new software products quickly combined with a genuine interest and enthusiasm

Excellent communication skills, combined with previous experience in a customer-facing technical Service Desk environment
