About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Clinical or Counselling Psychologist or a BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist to join our Adult Eating Disorders Service (AEDS) in Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful applicant will work in a warm and welcoming team, delivering high-quality care to adults with moderate to severe eating disorders. Prior experience in working with adults with eating disorder presentations is desirable, and a keen interest in the specialism is essential.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary community service and contribute to service development and transformation. The successful applicant will receive clinical supervision from a senior Psychologist and work closely with the AEDS psychological therapies team.

The position requires the ability to drive a car and use a car during working hours due to occasional travel between AEDS bases and other Trust sites.

Person Specification
  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of working with people from across the life span with a range of mental health issues and cognitive profiles
  • Experience across a range of psychological models including systemic, behavioural, and individual therapeutic
