Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and exceed financial and operational metrics.
  • Provide effective leadership and management to the team.
  • Promote exceptional levels of service throughout the Centre.
  • Lead and deliver the site strategy, including the provision of effective auctions for our customers' vehicles by physical or digital means.
  • Be the site quality and process improvement champion.
  • Nurture and champion all customer relationships, both vendors and buyers.
  • Produce high-quality management information within set timescales.
  • Ensure exceptional site standards and housekeeping.
  • Monitor group policies and procedures to ensure the site fully meets the required operating standards.
  • Highlight potential process failures prior to any drop in service levels.
  • Ensure site adherence to group HSEQ & Compliance policies and procedures.
  • Meet and exceed the monthly and annual financial budget (profit and loss and balance sheet) and related financial KPIs.
  • Take responsibility for all financial requirements, including site MI, reforecasts, and annual budget.
  • Ensure effective resource planning is in place across the site.
  • Identify growth opportunities and seek to fill gaps in revenue.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities through the upselling of all of Aston Barclay's products and services.
Requirements:
  • Proven management skills, including profit and loss responsibility for a business of at least similar size and complexity.
  • Motivational leadership qualities that develop and evolve the business.
  • Experienced in change management.
  • Experience of producing high-quality information to deadlines.
  • Automotive industry experience – preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience of delivering exceptional service to customers both personally and through a team.
