Oxford, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom University of Oxford Full time
Position Overview

We are looking for two enthusiastic and dedicated HR Administrators to join our administrative team within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine or the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism (OCDEM), both integral parts of the Radcliffe Department of Medicine. In this role, you will oversee the daily administration of departmental HR functions and report directly to the HR Manager or Deputy Business Manager.

Your responsibilities will include providing confident advice to line managers and staff members, utilizing effective communication methods tailored to the audience. You will address straightforward inquiries, research employment law, interpret procedures for more complex questions, or redirect queries as necessary.

Additionally, you will manage the recruitment process, collaborating with managers to identify staffing needs, crafting compelling job advertisements, and ensuring compliance with University guidelines and best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess A level qualifications along with GCSE (grades A-C) in English and Maths, or equivalent experience in a HR Team or HR Role. Familiarity with an electronic HR system, preferably PeopleXD, is advantageous.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at designated locations. We also welcome part-time applications at a minimum of 0.6 FTE.

For less experienced candidates, OCDEM may offer a position at Grade 4 with adjustments to essential criteria, responsibilities, or duties as appropriate.

As an employer, we prioritize the wellbeing of our employees, reflected in our comprehensive benefits package, which includes:

  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
  • Generous contributory pension scheme
  • 38 days of annual leave
  • A wide range of childcare services
  • Family leave policies
  • Cycle loan scheme
  • Discounted public transport options and travel loans
