Mentus Recruitment is working with an independent healthcare provider to recruit for a Clinical Manager in Berkshire. This role is based in a psychiatric hospital that supports adult service users with acute and complex mental health needs.
Role Overview:
The Clinical Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hospital's bed management system. This includes coordinating admissions and discharges, managing bed flow, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and coordinate capacity and flow throughout the hospital.
- Conduct regular ward visits to maintain an accurate bed state and monitor actual and potential discharges in conjunction with nursing staff.
- Collect and collate data for Operational Site reports.
- Report capacity and flow information to site meetings to enable planning and management for the utilisation of in-patient beds.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare operations and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. They will be able to work collaboratively with the senior management team and maintain professional standards in health.
