About the Role

Simpson Booth is seeking an experienced Electrical Workshop Technician to join our team. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of our electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including testing and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Conduct inventory checks and ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Assist the workshop team in the preparation of systems prior to deployment.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out with the highest regard to quality, health, safety, and the environment.
  • Liaise with the workshop supervisor to ensure the workshop and yard area are kept clean, presentable, and safe.
  • Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Requirements
  • ONC/HNC/Apprenticeship/City and Guilds within an Electronic/Electrical discipline.
  • Recognised High Voltage Training is desirable.
  • Experience in maintenance and servicing of electrical/electronic equipment in a workshop/offshore environment.
  • Experience with hand tools and workshop environments.
