Our establishment is Ofsted registered, adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our initiatives, ranging from physical activities to mindfulness practices, are designed to enhance children's wellbeing, starting with your leadership.

As an Assistant Manager in the Nuffy Bear Day Nursery, you will be required to hold qualifications such as NNEB, NVQ Level 3/4, BTEC, BA Hons, or equivalent. Ideally, you should also possess Early Years Practitioner Status, along with Paediatric First Aid and food hygiene certifications. An enhanced DBS check will be necessary for this position.

Your Responsibilities as an Assistant Manager:

  • Support the nursery team and take charge in the absence of the Nursery Manager
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained
  • Encourage the health, growth, and development of every child in our care
  • Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Oversee the planning of activities and assessments while keeping up with childcare legislation updates
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service offerings and meet revenue goals
