Note: This position can be based anywhere in the UK, with travel required to various sites.

We are currently seeking a Senior Vice President of Real World Insights, an individual who is operationally savvy, commercially astute, client-oriented, and a natural leader. This pivotal role is part of the Clinigen Managed Access leadership team, responsible for architecting and enhancing the Real World Data capabilities for Managed Access. You will function as a key member of the leadership team, collaborating across the organization to establish strategic capabilities that position us as thought leaders in Real World Data while managing the RWD profit and loss.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Development

  • Evaluate, revise, and implement a comprehensive potential plan that integrates into the overall global Managed Access strategy, focusing on resource types and capability development aligned with forecasts to support necessary growth.
  • Create and execute a one-year operational plan, overseeing the RWD profit and loss.
  • Innovate approaches that connect market trends and client requirements, establishing our position as thought leaders in Real World Data/Real World Evidence.
  • Stay informed on market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and client expectations to ensure our service offerings remain ahead of the competition.

Business Growth

  • Forge strong partnerships with Business Development to cultivate a robust pipeline.
  • Design tailored offerings for clients that surpass their expectations, potentially through client segmentation.

Operational Excellence

  • Assemble a team to meet current client obligations, establishing scalable processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and Digital teams to design and implement the RWE platform that meets and exceeds client expectations.
  • Allocate resources to ensure the service model aligns with pipeline demands.
  • Proactively build capabilities in anticipation of client needs to secure a competitive edge in the Real World Data/Real World Evidence marketplace.

Leadership in Managed Access

  • Contribute proactively to business unit goals, strategies, and directions to achieve financial performance and annual budgets aligned with the Group's long-term vision.
  • Ensure all key stakeholders are informed about the status and offerings related to Real World Data within Clinigen.

Team Development

  • Mentor, lead, and cultivate the team, including direct and indirect reports, to inspire high performance.
  • Ensure the right resources and expertise are in place, structured effectively to deliver on strategic objectives.
  • Develop a clear succession plan.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to direct reports and address performance issues proactively.
  • Facilitate effective communication of key messages from across the organization to the team.
  • Identify and retain top talent, keeping them engaged and maximizing their potential.
  • Recognize and celebrate both team and individual successes, ensuring all direct reports have comprehensive personal development plans aligned with individual, team, and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with HR to assess skill gaps and development needs, implementing plans to address these gaps.
  • Promote a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork focused on shared business objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Lead by example to embody Clinigen's values and foster a coaching culture within the team and the broader organization.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical services sector.
  • Proven track record of leading successful teams that consistently achieve sales and profit targets over multiple years.
  • Experience in developing data offerings within pharmaceutical services.
  • A confident leader with experience managing global teams and remote employees.
  • Expertise in motivating and coaching individuals to build high-performing teams.
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a high level of accountability for driving results through people.
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to collaborate effectively on mutually beneficial projects.
