SF Recruitment is partnering with a successful business in Pinxton, Nottingham to recruit a Payroll Assistant on a Full or Part-Time permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Process payroll for 210+ weekly paid employees, including end-to-end payroll processing.
- Manage timekeeping records for Agency workers.
- Process attachments of earnings, deductions, absence/holidays, salary sacrifice payments, and other benefits.
- Assist with the administration of the Learning and Development training suite.
- Update employee records and process changes to employee information.
- Process benefit payments/allowances and prepare P11d's.
- Issue P60's and P45's as required.
- Action maternity, paternity, adoption leave, and pay calculations.
- Support pay increases or bonuses processing and communication.
- Input new starters onto payroll systems and process leavers.
- Upload pension auto-enrolments and maintain required pension information.
- Filing and auditing personnel records.
- Validate shift logs and input onto the payroll system.
- Upload bank payments.
- Assist with HR/Payroll administration.
- Absence monitoring.
- Run payroll-related reports on a weekly basis.
- Deal with ad-hoc payroll queries from employees and HMRC.
- 3+ years of previous payroll experience.
- Use of a payroll system is essential, knowledge/experience of Sage payroll is desirable.
- Methodical and analytically focused.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to maintain employee records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Professionalism.
