About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team at CS & L Group Limited. As a key member of our middle-mile service, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer-centred services in a safe and friendly environment.

The ideal candidate will have a valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points, a Driver CPC card with no current suspension or revocation, and a strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation. You will also be required to hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card and have the right to work in the UK.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £42,000.00 per year, performance/safety bonus & incentives, consistent, regular work, 28 days paid Holidays; and sick pay, Workplace pension, Weekly payroll with direct deposit, State-of-the-art equipment with full safety technology, Secured on-site parking with excellent facilities, and Driver training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive safely and provide good customer service
  • Work positively with other members of the team
  • Stay overnight in the units, which are modern and well equipped
  • Start on a Monday morning and return to base on a Friday

Requirements

  • Valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points
  • Driver CPC card with no current suspension or revocation
  • Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card
  • Strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willing to spend weekly nights out between Monday to Friday
  • Willing to undergo a Background Check (BGC) and Drug and Alcohol (D&A) test
