Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic Coach to join our team at First Military Recruitment Ltd. As a Vehicle Mechanic Coach, you will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing learners, ensuring all required documentation is completed to the correct standard, and providing portfolio building advice and guidance to learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and review learners in line with customer expectations
- Ensure all required documentation is completed to the correct standard and within agreed timelines
- Provide portfolio building advice and guidance to learners based on the requirements of their programme
- Effectively record, plan, and track individual learner progress in accordance with agreed paperwork and reporting processes
Requirements:
- Considerable experience in the vehicle mechanic field
- Good understanding of work-based learning programmes
- Previous experience in the defence sector, ideally within the army arena (desired but not essential)
- Relevant industry-related qualification (Vehicle Mechanic minimum of Level 3)
- Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (desirable)
- Award/Certificate in Education & Training (or equivalent)
- Maths and English – GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
