Aftersales Technical Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical individual to join our team as a Senior Problem Solving Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of business areas within Aston Martin, including Research and Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and analyze daily Product Defect Reports (PDRs) from our global dealerships, identifying and categorizing issues and creating statistically based reports.
- Work closely with the lead engineer to select key topics for further investigation and resolution, creating problem definition sheets and collaborating with technical owners to resolve issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of identified issues, escalating any that are not progressing or resolved.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines, utilizing excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Production.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree required; experience in a technical industry with quality issues, problem-solving, and statistical data processing advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to challenge and persuade when required.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Working Arrangements:
- Monday - Thursday: 7am - 4pm, Friday: 7am - 12pm.
- 100% site-based work, with occasional travel to the St Athan factory or dealer network as required.
