About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Vetting Specialist to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive security vetting coordination services to our business, ensuring that processes are adhered to and implemented in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure efficient processing of documents and maintain accurate records of completed clearances and applications in process.
  • Liaise with our vetting sponsor to facilitate requests for new security clearances and renewals, and provide guidance to applicants throughout the application process.
  • Monitor clearance expiry dates and ensure that the renewal process is commenced with sufficient time to finalise before clearances lapse.
  • Verify vetting sponsor transactions, including payments, and assist our vetting sponsor in the execution of their duties in respect of clearances.
  • Act as a point of contact within Tetra Tech for a range of security vetting queries and provide vetting data to key stakeholders within the business when requested.
Requirements
  • Hold SC clearance as a minimum to fulfil the role.
  • Highly articulate with excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Able to multi-task, organise and prioritise workloads whilst remaining calm under pressure.
  • Willing to learn and expand your skills and have an attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook, 365.
