Based in the heart of the financial district, this esteemed organization is now seeking a Senior Transitions Administrator to take responsibility for the seamless transfer of client assets, provide administrative support to the Transitions team, and ensure timely transition of client assets into the business. This will include responsibility for but not limited to:

  • Processing new transfer instructions and chasing cases with counterparties to ensure transfers complete in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with the Transitions team to track and report on assets in transfer and ensure adherence to Service Level agreements, liaising with colleagues and third parties to follow up and update on progress.
  • Reviewing and processing transfer requests received from the relationship management teams, liaising with third parties regarding settlement and inputting instructions into the Pershing NEXUS system.
  • Managing efficient tracking and reporting of assets in transfer using the Asset Tracker system, providing clear and relevant updates to enable the client (internal and external) to monitor progress of the transfer.
  • Monitoring reports and systems to check for receipt of funds and assets, processing cheques for the custodian to apply to the accounts.
  • Receiving transfer cheques into the business, cross-checking information, updating the system, and passing to the cash management team for processing.
  • Maintaining relationships with third-party administrators, Fund Managers, and custodians.
  • Helping to identify areas for training and development within the team.
  • You will already possess relevant experience within a Transitions environment, including strong knowledge of asset transfer processes, including unit trust, CREST, foreign, certificated, and cash movements, coupled with knowledge of tax wrapper structures, including ISA, GIA, and SIPP.

Any knowledge of Pershing NEXUS or Electronic reregistration and Altus/Origo would be an advantage.

Additionally, the client is seeking someone with accuracy, organization, thoroughness, and attention to detail, coupled with excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and an understanding of the importance of treating customers fairly to deal with any issues that occur promptly and efficiently.

The role is offered on a hybrid working pattern (2 days in the office) together with ongoing training and development and a highly attractive remuneration package.
