TIG Welder Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team at Recra Consulting. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality TIG welding tasks on various metal components and structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welding Tasks: Perform TIG welding tasks on various metal components and structures according to project requirements and specifications.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding codes to ensure accurate execution of welds.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, cutting, and fitting metal pieces.
  • Equipment Operation: Set up and operate TIG welding equipment, machinery, and tools.
  • Inspection and Quality Control: Conduct inspections of welded parts to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members, including fabricators, supervisors, and engineers, to ensure smooth workflow and successful project completion.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, promoting a safe work environment at all times.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a TIG Welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
  • TIG Welding Skills: Proficient in TIG welding techniques with a strong attention to detail.
  • Blueprint Reading: Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding codes.
  • Equipment Operation: Ability to operate and maintain various TIG welding equipment and tools.
  • Metals Knowledge: Knowledge of different types of metals, their properties, and applications in welding.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications or qualifications in TIG welding are highly desirable.
