About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at WT, a leading provider of construction services. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our projects, including cost planning, pre-contract documentation, and final account management. You will also be expected to work closely with our project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that our projects are delivered successfully.

We are looking for a candidate who is highly organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will also be expected to have a strong attention to detail and be able to read and interpret instructions carefully.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the financial aspects of our projects, including cost planning, pre-contract documentation, and final account management.
  • Work closely with our project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that our projects are delivered successfully.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients and other stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines as needed.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong background in quantity surveying, with a degree or similar qualification.
  • MRICS or qualified by depth of experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret instructions carefully.
