About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytical Chemist to join our team at CK Group, a leading provider of speciality pharmaceutical ingredients. As a Senior Analytical Chemist, you will play a key role in the analysis and characterization of novel API materials, aiding the development, scale up, and transfer of processes for both our in-house and client projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Method Development and Optimization: Develop and optimize analytical methods for the characterization of API materials, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Method Validation and Transfer: Validate and transfer analytical methods to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Scientific Leadership: Provide scientific leadership and technical guidance to the Analytical team, ensuring the development and implementation of best practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and establish methods specifications, new techniques, and recommend alternative approaches to analytical challenges.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to other members of the Analytical team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A degree in Analytical, Bioanalytical, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Organic Chemistry, with significant industrial experience in an analytical laboratory performing testing and data analysis/interpretation within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of analytical techniques and methodologies, including HPLC, UPLC, GC, GC-headspace, IC, KF, UV, and polarimetry.
  • Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
