Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Assistant Shop Manager to join our Retail Team in Cowbridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our shop team, managing sales, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the shop team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Manage shop operations, including stock control, visual merchandising, and cash handling
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and customer engagement
- Monitor and report on shop performance, including sales, stock levels, and customer feedback
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a charity or not-for-profit environment
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
