Role Overview:
Our client is in search of a Cyber Risk Management Director to become a vital part of their second line of defense team. In this critical position, you will spearhead initiatives to oversee cyber risks, ensuring the organization is shielded from security vulnerabilities. Your proficiency will be instrumental in recognizing risks and crafting effective risk mitigation strategies. You will provide senior management with independent assurance regarding our cyber risk and information security stance.
Key Duties:
- Risk Monitoring & Evaluation: Develop and enhance our information security risk management framework, driving the implementation of measures to protect our data and services.
- Incident Response & Remediation: Oversee security incidents, perform regular compliance assessments, and collaborate with internal departments and external partners to address risks.
- Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing team, establishing clear objectives, ensuring alignment with our cybersecurity vision, and promoting a culture of ongoing improvement.
Essential Qualifications:
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Cybersecurity Fundamentals, ISO 27001, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, data classification, and data loss prevention strategies.
- Skills: Proficient in risk-based analysis, decision-making, and the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Behavioral Attributes: Strong business acumen, problem-solving capabilities, and excellent interpersonal skills. A pragmatic and adaptable approach with the ability to lead across various organizational levels.
- Certifications: Credentials such as CISSP, CRISC, or CISM are advantageous.
