Job Title: Commercial Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our Transport Services team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a key member of our workshop team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the council's fleet of vehicles and plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Workshop Manager in maintaining the council's fleet, including third-party and plant maintenance.
  • Ensure all maintenance processes are carried out effectively to meet legislative and health and safety requirements.
  • Work efficiently to meet service obligations in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Assist in the delivery of an efficient and effective Transport Workshop service in a safe manner.
  • Promote continuous improvement and a 'right first time' culture.
Requirements:
  • City and Guilds and IMI qualifications.
  • Experience of maintaining commercial LGV and plant.
  • Experience of maintaining Mercedes and Dennis vehicles and buses.
  • Up-to-date MOT test qualification and the ability to drive a class 2 vehicle.
  • Courteous and helpful demeanor at all times.
