About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Resourcing Group. As a key member of our Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities of our heavy industry operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and carry out maintenance work activities to ensure optimal long-term availability of all plant and equipment.
  • Plan and execute electrical maintenance activities to promote productivity and efficiency across our sites.
  • Supervise a team of technicians and contractors to ensure high-quality maintenance services.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns across sites, both during normal hours and outside of normal working hours.
  • Control, maintain, and repair PLC, SCADA, HMI, and Drives systems across our sites.
  • Attend meetings with maintenance and production departments to review workload and plan corrective actions.
  • Establish and enforce expectations related to safety, compliance, corrective actions, and appropriate work behaviors.
Requirements
  • Minimum HNC or Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • At least 5 years' experience in heavy industry with supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in PLC, SCADA, HMI, and Drives systems, including Siemens S7, RS Logix, Allen Bradley, Compact Logix 5000 & 500, and Mitsubishi Processors.
  • Experience in installing electrical control systems, including AC/DC drives, variable frequency drives, closed-loop control with positioning systems.
  • Computer competence in EXCEL, POWERPOINT, WORD, and CMM Systems (Synchro).
  • Ability to coordinate and supervise work activities for electrical, multiskilled, and contractor personnel.
  • Knowledgeable and competent in reading electrical drawings, process, and control diagrams.
