Head of Logistics

Zachary Daniels is seeking a seasoned Logistics professional to lead our entire Logistics & Supply Chain function. As Head of Logistics, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive logistics strategy aligned with our company's overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a logistics strategy that supports our Retail Stores, Ecom, and Wholesale channels.
  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, space utilisation, procurement, and picking & packing processes.
  • Manage a global logistics network of distribution centres.
  • Oversee the fulfilment operation, including receipt of goods, kitting, pick and pack, and on-demand production.
  • Manage transportation operations, including carrier selection, route optimisation, and freight cost negotiation.
  • Plan and implement scalable process and system improvements to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, minimise costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
  • Manage the logistics team, providing coaching and leadership where necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies in logistics and identify opportunities for innovation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of working at a senior level within a Logistics or Supply Chain role.
  • Experience of working within a retail setting across large store footprint, ecom, and wholesale.
  • Capable leader with a focus on building a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ability to travel to various UK locations.
