  • Timely Preliminary Engineering Sign off (PEC) and Final Engineering Sign off.
  • Delivery of Commodity PSW in accordance with programme timelines.
  • Utilize recognized problem-solving techniques and the Automated Issue Management system (AIMS) for effective resolution aligned with programme metrics.
  • Supplier oversight

Core Responsibilities

  • Execute the commodity plan ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery, including the maintenance of the Worldwide Engineering Release System (via PACN/iCreate or directly).
  • Take ownership of Engineering Advanced Product Quality Planning deliverables.
  • Oversee Change Requests, expenditure forecasting, and collaborate with relevant supplier teams to achieve programme milestones.
  • Manage design verification test plans, including detailed planning of testing and development phases through to sign off, and assist Engineering test teams in resolving issues.
  • Contribute to the development of new features.
  • Ensure all design solutions comply with:
  1. Cost and weight targets
  2. Legal standards and Requirements Management & Design Verification documentation
  3. Optical Quality and Premium Consumer Product Audit requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date Module documentation, including:
  1. Meeting minutes
  2. Foundation and Programme Design analysis documents
  3. Quality history and bill of design
  4. RMDV
  5. Commodity plan
  6. EBER
  • Perform any additional tasks as directed by the line manager related to the role.
