Job Title: Toolroom Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Toolroom Engineer to join our client's team in the packaging industry. As a Toolroom Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing tools and equipment, ensuring optimal production efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

• Mould Adjustments: Perform adjustments on moulds to ensure accurate and efficient production.
• Soldering and Machining: Solder parts in the tool shop and perform machining tasks for production.
• Breakdown Response: Respond promptly to any breakdowns with moulds and tooling, minimizing downtime and ensuring production continuity.
• Toolroom Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized toolroom, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Supplier Liaison: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Maintenance Scheduling: Collaborate with the manager to produce maintenance schedules, ensuring optimal toolroom efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience in a toolroom environment, preferably in packaging or manufacturing.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
