About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Nurse to join our team in Cheshire East. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in improving the health and wellbeing of school-aged children, working closely with schools, families, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health promotion programs to improve the health and wellbeing of school-aged children
  • Work closely with schools, families, and other stakeholders to identify and address health needs
  • Provide health education and support to children and young people
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to school health
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (Adult or Child/RSCN) qualification
  • Postgraduate qualification in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing - School Nursing or equivalent
  • Leadership Level 6 qualification
  • Mentorship Level 6 qualification
  • Solihull Approach Trained
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
