About the Role

We are currently seeking a Lead Estimator to join our team, responsible for managing and developing cost estimates and establishing estimating methodologies. As a key member of our project team, you will collaborate with colleagues to determine project scope, identify information gaps, and enhance data quality for accurate estimates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage cost estimates for gas transmission, gas services, and gas metering projects
  • Establish and maintain estimating methodologies to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with project teams to determine project scope and identify information gaps
  • Enhance data quality to support accurate estimates
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication

Requirements

  • Confident estimating from first principles
  • Understanding of Quantity Surveying principles
  • Ability to develop cost plans and track progress
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
