Job Title: Principal Pipelines Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Pipelines Engineer to join our team at First Recruitment Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in pipeline design and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform engineering design activities for onshore and offshore rigid pipelines in all phases of the project.
  • Work on both brownfield and greenfield projects, and within carbon capture activities.
  • Be the Project Design Lead on large projects, managing and directing a team of discipline engineers and designers.
  • Supervise and direct preparation of project deliverables and manage man hours of discipline resources.
  • Support CAD Designers in execution of layouts and Project Pipeline drawings.
Requirements:
  • Working experience in the Oil and Gas industry with respect to rigid offshore and onshore pipelines.
  • Knowledge of software, such as DNVGL pipelines design suite (SESAM pipeline package, PET, AutoPipe, SAGE Profile, AGA).
  • Knowledge of UK and international specifications and codes (BS, DNV, ISO, API and ASME).
  • Highly motivated with great interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent teamwork capabilities.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
