Grounds Maintenance Assistant Opportunity

Vermelo RPO is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Tunbridge Wells. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds on multiple sites, ensuring they are well-manicured and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the grounds on multiple sites, including gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces
  • Perform general gardening tasks, such as pruning, weeding, and planting
  • Complete time sheets, budgetary records, and chemical records accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain machinery and equipment in clean and safe working order, or arrange for repairs as needed
  • Contribute to improving grounds and garden maintenance practices
  • Implement maintenance works within the grounds or buildings as instructed by the Estates Supervisor
Key Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Practical and can-do approach, with a professional demeanor when communicating
  • Good work ethic, with an energetic and flexible approach
