Role Overview
The position of IT Systems Analyst within the IT Team at Active Care Group is crucial for delivering support, insights, and expertise in the upkeep, assistance, and ongoing enhancement of IT applications and systems.
As part of the IT Team and reporting to the Business Systems Manager, the IT Systems Analyst plays a vital role in providing technical assistance and guidance on various applications utilized across the organization. This role also involves collaborating with the IT team on the implementation of new applications and the continuous improvement of existing systems.
This is a full-time position that allows for remote work, with occasional travel required within the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and install new software solutions to align with business requirements.
- Assess, develop, test, and implement new systems, along with enhancements to current systems.
- Collaborate with all business sectors to gather requirements and design effective solutions with stakeholders and end users.
- Work with third-party providers to develop proposals for system enhancements and change requests.
- Engage in development, delivery, and integration activities with service providers and third parties, maintaining a strong customer focus to resolve issues within agreed service levels.
- Participate actively with team members to ensure business success, which may include troubleshooting, analyzing requirements, designing and developing solutions, and preparing project documentation and presentations.
- Ensure all system improvements meet business needs and adhere to Active Care Group's strategies and change control processes.
- Confirm that business applications comply with defined Business Continuity requirements.
- Maintain adherence to policies and quality assurance standards for application deployment, customization, governance, and support.
- Identify areas for enhancement, communicate with senior management, and ensure continuous improvement of supported systems.
- Document procedures for applications, ensuring they reflect current legislative requirements when necessary.
- Escalate application issues internally as needed.
- Recommend operational technologies and tools that enhance user experience.
