About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Construction Partner to join our Non-Contentious Construction team at RWK Goodman. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing clients and working within the department to build and grow the business while maintaining a consistent level of excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality work on own files, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring matters are profitable, while supervising more junior fee earners in file management and time recording.
  • Act as the senior lawyer on complex matters, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and referrers by exceeding service expectations and supporting partners in managing and developing key clients.
  • Manage a client review process and implement changes based on feedback.
  • Expand business by broadening expertise into new client sectors or markets, or achieving greater market share.
  • Lead on generating thought leadership on changes in the law, market trends, or other relevant material to attract new opportunities.
  • Manage and supervise work in the team to achieve financial and non-financial KPIs, using management information to understand performance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years PQE working for a leading national or regional firm.
  • Experience in all aspects of non-contentious construction matters.
  • Ability to grow the team and drive business development.
  • Strong business development mindset.
