About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Technician to join our Commercial Major & Complex loss team in the North West and Yorkshire region. This technical support role provides an excellent opportunity to work in partnership with our Adjusters who manage a caseload of commercial claims of varying value and complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to Adjusters on complex and larger losses in excess of £100,000.
  • Manage a caseload of desktop losses on selected commercial accounts.
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the lifecycle of the claim.
  • Have first-class communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be competent in IT skills and maintain electronic and paper files to a high auditable standard.
  • Assist in the preparation of Claim and Adjustment documentation as required.
  • Provide assistance on site, including minute taking of meetings and preparation of action plans.
  • Accurately record daily time and deliver a high proportion of chargeable hours.
Requirements
  • Cert CILA/Cert CII qualification is preferred, but experience within commercial claims handling as a minimum would also be considered.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Office and claims management software.
