We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Technician to join our Commercial Major & Complex loss team in the North West and Yorkshire region. This technical support role provides an excellent opportunity to work in partnership with our Adjusters who manage a caseload of commercial claims of varying value and complexity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to Adjusters on complex and larger losses in excess of £100,000.
- Manage a caseload of desktop losses on selected commercial accounts.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the lifecycle of the claim.
- Have first-class communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be competent in IT skills and maintain electronic and paper files to a high auditable standard.
- Assist in the preparation of Claim and Adjustment documentation as required.
- Provide assistance on site, including minute taking of meetings and preparation of action plans.
- Accurately record daily time and deliver a high proportion of chargeable hours.
- Cert CILA/Cert CII qualification is preferred, but experience within commercial claims handling as a minimum would also be considered.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Office and claims management software.
