About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at The Bungalow, a specialist support service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and medical concerns.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, enabling them to achieve their goals and develop their skills to live independently.

You will be responsible for supporting individuals with challenging behaviors, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and facilitating their participation in activities and hobbies.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, and caring, with a passion for making a positive difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Support individuals with challenging behaviors, using positive communication and de-escalation techniques
  • Facilitate participation in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and community engagement
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
