Job Summary:

The Behaviour and Attendance Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the academy's strategic priorities, focusing on promoting positive student behaviour, excellent attitudes to learning, and outstanding attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the pastoral care, personal development, and safeguarding of students in the year group(s) is of the highest standard.
  • Address attendance issues and seek help for students in need by liaising with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure students feel safe and engage well.
  • Support the implementation of the academy's strategic priorities, focusing on student behaviour and attendance.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategies to improve student attendance and behaviour.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.

Working Arrangements:

The Behaviour and Attendance Manager will work 39.5 hours per week, term time only, with 15 days of annual leave. The role will involve working closely with the academy's leadership team and other stakeholders to support the implementation of the academy's strategic priorities.
