About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Insights Partner to join our Business Analytics team at LGC Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, evidence-based insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain Reports and Dashboards: Design and implement new reports and dashboards to help users gain insights and make informed decisions.
  • Improve Data Quality and Integration: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues, and develop strategies to integrate new data sources.
  • Drive Reporting Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest reporting and visualization techniques, and promote self-service analytics to users.
  • Provide Analytical Support: Offer expert analytical guidance to business users, and help them to develop their analytical skills.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Tableau (or similar) for creating reports and dashboards, advanced Excel skills, including Data Query and Data Model Pivots, and basic SQL knowledge.
  • Analytical Approach: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data integrity and a commercial attitude.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification, relevant degree, and at least 5 years in a commercial or financial analytics role.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to guide users, document processes, and communicate complex data concepts clearly.
  • Proactive Learner: Self-motivated with a willingness to quickly learn new skills and adapt to changing needs.
