Job Title: Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Payrolljobsboard. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for all employees, including calculation of remuneration, statutory deductions, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including PAYE, National Insurance, and pension schemes.
  • Manage payroll exceptions and excessive payments, ensuring they are consistent with guidelines and within pre-determined limits.
  • Provide assistance with cover for all manner of Payroll staff to ensure Departmental standards are maintained and all targets/deadlines are achieved.
  • Work alongside senior members of the team to undertake ad hoc duties as and when required to assist with monthly payroll processing.
Requirements:
  • High level of knowledge of Statutory Legislation to enable you to apply and reconcile statutory deductions.
  • Extensive knowledge of both current and past Terms and Conditions, as they apply, to all aspects of Payroll.
  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent required.
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Be a team player, with a flexible and adaptable attitude.
